The Ridges
Summerlin's most prestigious guard-gated address
The Ridges is the address most buyers mean when they say "luxury in Summerlin." It sits high on the west side of the valley with Red Rock Canyon behind it and the Strip skyline in front, behind a staffed gate, with several smaller gated enclaves inside the main gate for even more privacy.
What it's like to live here
Homes range from refined semi-custom residences to architect-designed estates on large view lots. The look is mostly desert-contemporary: clean lines, stone, glass and big indoor-outdoor living.
Downtown Summerlin's dining and shopping are minutes away, and Red Rock Canyon is a short drive west. For buyers relocating from California, it offers a similar lifestyle, and Nevada has no state income tax.
The golf course is changing
The Jack Nicklaus course long known as Bear's Best closed to public play in June 2025. It is being converted into Amara Golf Club, a private club with a limited membership. If golf is part of your decision, ask Micah for the latest on membership and timing, because terms can change.
